DPHA Treasurer & Chair of Finance and Administration Committee.
Alison joined the Committee about six years ago with the aim of making sure that tenants have their say in the way that their rent money is used. Primarily this would enable their houses being fit for the purpose of making life comfortable and safe.
Alison was elected Association Treasurer three years ago.
Alison has lived in Clydebank all of her life, having moved from Parkhall down to Dalmuir 21 years ago when she married and had her son. She enjoys living in the area as it has all the community facilities required. She believes DPHA must continue enhancing the local community through community development projects like the Beardmore Sculpture.
“I really enjoy being on the Committee as I don’t see the point of sitting back and only talking about what you want. You should get up and make your voice heard. We have been fortunate to get new Committee Members over the last few years which allows the Association to continue to develop with fresh ideas.”
