Georgette
Murray has been Head Teacher of St Stephen’s Primary School, Dalmuir for
five and a half years.
Georgette, originally from Duntocher, has a keen interest in the local Clydebank area and was co-opted onto the Management Committee in August 2010. She realises how important it is for the young people of the area to be involved in their local communities and to be aware of local issues which affect them and their environment.
Georgette says: “I was privileged to be asked to be a co-opted member
of DPHA’s Management Committee. DPHA have always supported our local
schools through sponsorship of various projects and sporting activities.
Through the presence of DPHA in our schools, our pupils gain knowledge and
awareness of what is happening locally and develop a sense of pride in their
area. This in turn helps them to become interested and responsible
citizens.“
