Vacancies

DPHA has developed and improved the quality of its housing and the environment within the Clydebank area. We now have around 900 rented, shared ownership and owner occupied properties, and a substantial wider action and community development programme to support our community-controlled objectives.

The Association is currently reviewing its Care Services and in the interim wishes to recruit appropriately qualified and experienced personnel to the following post.

Care Services Manager (21 hrs) – 1 year fixed term
EVH Grade 7: £27,740 - £30,461 pro rata (under review)

As a member of the Management Team, reporting to the Director, you will have substantial experience of managing care service projects, have a sound understanding of Supporting People and Care Inspectorate requirements and be fully conversant with the assessment of care needs and the maintenance of case files. You will also have excellent report writing and organisational skills, as well as excellent negotiation, interpersonal and communication skills. 

A professional qualification in social care (CQSW, CSS, DSW)/SVQ Level 4 Health & Social Care or equivalent is essential.

Housing Services Assistant – 1 year fixed term
EVH Grade 5: £21,417 - £22,180 (under review)

Reporting to the Care Services Manager you will provide operational support to DPHA’s Sheltered Housing Service, ensuring that registration and organisational standards are maintained.

You will have in depth experience and knowledge of delivering housing support services to older people and a clear understanding of Care Commission requirements. You will be able to work flexibly and positively as part of a busy team, committed to meeting performance targets for yourself and your team.

An HNC or vocational qualification in housing, social care or similar field is essential.

Property Services Assistant
(Grade 5: £20,651 - £22,950)

An enthusiastic and dynamic individual is required to join our Property Services Team. You will have a proven track record in Property Management and an awareness of relevant issues currently being faced by RSLs in Scotland. The successful applicant will be able to fit in with our cultures and values and will have the flexibility required to operate within a generic staff team. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work calmly under pressure to meet tight deadlines are essential.

Knowledge of appropriate legislation, operational property management issues is essential and experience of working with a voluntary committee is desirable. There will be a strong emphasis on response maintenance, gas safety and project management. The successful candidate must be willing to learn and develop the role.

Administrative/Corporate Services Assistant
(Grade 4: £17,582 - £19,882)

The ideal candidate should possess excellent administrative, IT, customer service and communication skills. Working within a small team, you should be able to work with minimum supervision and have excellent interpersonal skills.

Corporate Services Officer
(Grade 7: £27,740 - £30,461)

This is a key post within the organisation for a self motivated, dynamic and enthusiastic individual. The successful candidate will have a strong HR background together with outstanding administration skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work calmly under pressure to meet tight deadlines is essential.

A working knowledge of relevant best practice including Equality & Diversity and employment law is also essential.
