This pilot project was incorporated into the Association’s Community Development program in 2009. Run in conjunction with West Dunbartonshire’s Youth Service Team 10 local teenagers from the Dalmuir Area were asked their thoughts on events that may be of interest to them.
The feedback was very much encouraging and it was decided to run the activity during the school break in October. The two activities chosen included; an adrenaline rushing session on the Climbzone Experience at Xscape, Braehead followed by Ski Tubing at Bearsden Ski slope. The day turned out to be very successful and resources permitting, we hope to run another similar event in the near future.
